On October 8th, hosted by Consorzio ZAI in Verona, Europlatforms held its General Assembly to plan the next steps of the Association. This meeting followed the release of the new TEN-T regulation and the recent renewal of the European Parliament representatives.
Key discussions focused on strengthening the role of the EEIG, enhancing our members’ expertise, and actively contributing to the decarbonization and sustainability of the logistics sector. As part of this effort, we drafted a dedicated Action Plan outlining the priorities needed to support multimodal services and advance our goals.
The Assembly also marked a leadership change, with the election of Andrea Ballarin as the new General Secretary, who will work alongside President Alberto Milotti over the next three years. A heartfelt thanks were extended to Jesús Sánchez Sanvicente for his outstanding contributions and support during his mandate. The Assembly wished Andrea all the best as he leads the EEIG through the challenges and opportunities ahead.
